The Lifestyle® V20 home theater system offers HD compatibility for your DVD player and other components. Your component connections are hidden from view; only an elegant display panel remains as the visual interface for your system. Video upscaling ensures your movies and sports always use the highest resolution capabilities of your display, up to 1080p over HDMI.
Lifestyle V-class™ systems present a different approach to home theater—and a better way to experience it. There's no need for a large, complex receiver. Instead, connect your DVD player, gaming console and other high-definition components to our well-labeled media console. Then tuck the console out of view. All you see is a stand-alone display to receive and control system information.
The Lifestyle® V20 home theater system automatically synchronizes the correct audio and video with the push of a button on the universal remote. And it upscales video to the highest resolution capabilities of your display, up to 1080p over HDMI.

Direct/Reflecting® cube speakers fill your room with compelling surround sound to bring movies, music and sports to life. These small speakers work in concert with a hideaway Acoustimass® module. Its exclusive technology provides the emotional intensity you feel at the theater and powerful low tones you hear at a concert hall.

Your room is unique, with size, shape, textures and other elements affecting the sound you hear. The ADAPTiQ® system was developed to analyze your room and then adjust the Lifestyle® surround sound system for a consistent, high quality performance each time you listen. The Lifestyle® V20 system also features Bose® link technology to distribute the system's audio around your home. Just add compatible Bose products and extend your system's benefits to other rooms where you want to enjoy music, or even outdoors.
Features
ADAPTiQ® audio calibration system provides greater freedom of speaker placement. It analyzes the way your room's dimensions and other variables affect sound, then automatically adjusts the sound of your Lifestyle® surround sound system to the acoustics of your room.
Bose® link whole-home audio technology lets you connect compatible Bose products to your Lifestyle® home entertainment system for listening in as many as 14 additional rooms—even outdoors.
Acoustimass® module works in concert with the small speakers to deliver a fuller range of theater sound and effects. The patented Bose design produces low frequencies for all channels with no audible distortion.
Automatic video upscaling ensures movies and sports use the highest resolution capabilities of your display—up to 1080p over HDMI.
Automatic audio/video synchronization slightly delays audio while the video processor enhances the signal—so what you hear is always in sync with what you see.
Abundant inputs/outputs let you connect up to four external video sources—including two HDMI—and five audio sources.
Proprietary Videostage® 5 decoding and post-processing circuitry, combined with digital 5.1 decoding and DTS®, helps deliver a high quality, five-channel surround sound experience from practically any source: DVDs, videocassettes, stereo CDs, even older mono TV shows and movies.
Control integration enables the Lifestyle® system's radio-frequency remote to operate most popular functions on other infrared-receiving equipment in your home entertainment system: TV, VCR, PVR, cable box or satellite receiver. TV sensor makes turning on your home entertainment system a one-button operation.
Direct/Reflecting® speaker technology delivers lifelike spaciousness from a natural balance of reflected and direct sound—similar to a live performance.
